Your original circuit board, transponder and other required internal components must be transferred into the replacement housing. The Panasonic VL2330 is a rechargeable battery with solder tags. Replacing it requires soldering skills and suitable equipment. The existing battery must be carefully removed from the circuit board and the replacement installed with the correct polarity and orientation. The VL2330 is a rechargeable battery and should not be confused with similarly sized non-rechargeable CR-series coin cells. Replacement HU101 Key Blade The replacement case is supplied with a removable uncut HU101 key blade. If you intend to use the supplied blade, it will need to be professionally cut to match the vehicle. Alternatively, the original blade may be transferred where suitable.
