Vauxhall Insignia 2 Button Key Fob Repair Kit
Repair and refurbish your existing Vauxhall Insignia 2-button remote flip key fob with this complete DIY repair kit, suitable for compatible Vauxhall Insignia models from 2008-2017.
The kit includes a compatible aftermarket replacement key case, uncut HU100 key blade, CR2032 coin-cell battery, two replacement micro switches and a free 1.4mm key-blade pin removal tool. HU100 Key Blade & Free 1.4mm Pin Removal Tool
The replacement case is supplied with an uncut HU100 key blade together with a free 1.4mm key-blade pin removal tool.
If your original blade is suitable for reuse, the supplied tool can assist with removing the small retaining pin so that the original blade can be transferred into the replacement flip-key mechanism.
Alternatively, the supplied uncut HU100 blade can be professionally cut to match your vehicle.
Step-by-Step Video Fitting Guide Included
Every kit includes a QR fitting-guide card in your parcel. Simply scan the QR code on the card with your phone to access our detailed step-by-step fitting tutorial on YouTube.
The video demonstrates how to replace the key case and transfer the original key blade using the supplied 1.4mm pin removal tool, giving you clear guidance through the fitting process.
Please keep the fitting-guide card until you have completed the repair.
CR2032 Replacement Battery
The kit includes a new CR2032 3V lithium coin-cell battery for the compatible remote key shown.
Fit the replacement battery in the correct orientation, matching the polarity of the original battery and the markings inside the key or battery holder.
Replacement Micro Switches
The kit includes two 4-pin replacement micro switches for compatible circuit boards.
The switches are intended for keys with worn, damaged or non-responsive button switches. If the existing micro switches are working correctly, they do not need to be replaced simply because replacements are supplied with the kit.
Replacing micro switches requires soldering skills and suitable equipment. Excessive heat, incorrect fitting or damage to the circuit board can prevent the remote key from functioning correctly.

This is a DIY repair kit intended for customers who are confident dismantling and refurbishing their existing remote key. Take care when opening the original key and transferring the circuit board, transponder, battery and key blade.
Micro switch replacement requires soldering. Incorrect soldering, excessive heat, incorrect battery installation or damage to the circuit board can prevent the key from functioning correctly.
