The kit includes a replacement aftermarket blue key fob case together with a genuine Panasonic VL2330 rechargeable battery, providing the main replacement components commonly required when refurbishing a worn or faulty Transit MK7 remote key.
Your original circuit board (PCB), transponder and other reusable components are retained and transferred into the replacement case.

DIY Ford Transit MK7 Key Repair
This kit is intended for customers who are confident dismantling and repairing their existing remote key. Your original electronics and transponder must be transferred into the replacement housing.
The Panasonic VL2330 is a rechargeable battery with solder tags and requires soldering to the circuit board. The original battery must be carefully removed and the replacement battery installed with the correct polarity and orientation.
If you intend to use the supplied uncut Tibbe blade, it will need to be professionally cut to match your existing vehicle key. Alternatively, your original blade may be transferred where suitable.
