These batteries are suitable for compatible Ford Transit MK7 models from 2006-2014 using the blue 3-button remote key shown in the product photographs. Each battery is supplied with 180° solder tags for fitting to the existing key circuit board (PCB).

DIY Battery Replacement
Replacing these batteries requires soldering skills and suitable equipment. The existing rechargeable battery must be carefully removed from the circuit board and the replacement VL2330 installed with the correct polarity and orientation.
- Carefully open the existing remote key.
- Remove the circuit board (PCB).
- Identify the existing battery and check that it matches the VL2330 shown.
- Carefully desolder and remove the existing battery.
- Fit the replacement VL2330 in the correct orientation and solder the terminals securely.
- Reassemble the key and test the remote functions.
Please note: Incorrect soldering, excessive heat or incorrect battery polarity can damage the circuit board. If you are not confident carrying out the repair, professional key repair is recommended.
